| Vehicles used on the former joint 131/2 Bedford to Oxford . Four round trips were operated daily, three on a sunday with one vehicle from each UC Bedford ( 2 trips) and SM Bicester, the route was withdrawn in May 86, Todays X5 covers the route, with 32 daily journeys. The AM and PM journey were interworked with an Oxford- Coventry service so 2 Bicester vehicles visited Bedford daily. The route was initally via Newport - Stony and Wolverton across what is now MK, it was later diverted to run Newport- MK - Bletchley as part of the growth of Milton Keynes. |
