| A chance visit to Rothley on 20 sept and look what appeared as we were about to leave at about 15.20. Stopping in the Leicester bound platform for about 10 minutes Tornado then headed south to gain the Northbound road after a passenger train, stopping in the northbound platform for another 10 minutes or so. Plenty of chances for photos for the few of us there.These pictures are already history as the loco is now in green. This was of course the day before its first passenger train. |
